• Completely dependent on battery or electricity

  • gather ALL batteries and bring with patient

• Patients will NOT have a palpable pulse

  • rely on skin color and SPo2 for clinical assessment

• These devices depend on PRE-Load, so volume replacement can be considered

• CPR is NOT recommended (only as a last resort if pump cannot be restarted with 10 minutes)
