Class: Bronchodilator
Action: Binds and stimulates the beta2 receptors, resulting in relaxation of the bronchial smooth muscles
Indications: Asthma, bronchitis with bronchospasms, and COPD
Adverse Effects: palpitations, sinus tachycardia, anxiety, tremors, nausea/vomiting, throat irritation, dry mouth, hypertension, dyspepsia, headache, paradoxical bronchospasms
Contraindications: Angioedema, sensitivity to albuterol or levalbuterol.
Special Considerations: pregnancy Class C

Nebulized 2.5mg/3ml with oxygen at 6-8 lpm
