Class: Adrenergic agent, inotropic
Action: Binds with both alpha and beta receptors to produce increased blood pressure, heart rate and bronchodilation
Indications: Bronchospasms, anaphylaxis, cardiac arrest
Adverse Effects: Tachycardia, anxiety, headache, hypertension, nervousness, tremors, chest pain, nausea/vomiting
Contraindications: Supra Ventricular Tachycardia, glaucoma
Special Considerations: Pregnancy Class C

Cardiac Arrest:
1mg (1:10,000) IV/IO q 3-5mins
Asthma/anaphylaxis:
0.3 ml (1:1,000) SQ/IM MAX dose is 1mg
Pediatrics:
Bradycardia/Cardiac Arrest:
0.01mg/kg (0.1ml/kg) of (1:10,000) IV/IO q 3-5mins
Asthma/anaphylaxis:
0.01mg/kg (1:1,000) SQ MAX dose is 0.3mg
Respiratory Distress:
0.5 ml/kg (1:1,000) (MAX 5ml) mixed with 2ml NS via SVN
Neonatal Resuscitation:
0.01 - 0.03mg/kg of (1:10,000) IV/IO
