• Action: Decreases inflammation by suppressing migration of polymorphonuclear leukocytes (PMNs) and reducing capillary permeability

• Indications: Asthma, COPD, Allergic reactions, Anaphylaxis

• Adverse Effects: anaphylaxis, cushing syndrome, seizures, HTN, CHF, rash, nausea, vomiting, edema, muscle atrophy, headache, vertigo, anxiety

• Contraindications: systemic fungal infections, hypersensitivity,

• Special Considerations: Pregnancy Class C
