Anime/Manga Project

Our final project of the year was learning to draw anime/manga characters. We focused on just drawing faces and learning how to create your own character rather than copying existing characters. We practiced drawing different manga eyes, noses, mouths and hair styles and also looked at different expressions. After a couple of weeks of practice and looking at actual anime and manga examples students had to make a one page manga comic strip. They had the choice of using color or keeping it black and white.
