What does Diffit do?
Literally Anything
With Literally Anything you can give Diffit a prompt, question, topic, or concept and it will generate a leveled reading and resource set.
1. Search for a topic, term, or question here. Be as specific as possible!
2. Choose an approximate reading level and language.
3. Generate Resources
An Article or Video (URL)
With An Article or Video (URL) you can give Diffit a link to an article, PDF, or YouTube video (with a transcript) and it will adapt it into a leveled reading and resource set.
1. Paste the URL of an article, PDF, or video into the "Paste URL here" box.
2. Choose an approximate reading level and language if you want to adapt the reading or keep “Original Text.”
3. Generate Resources
Any Text or Excerpt
With Any Text or Excerpt you can copy and paste a text or reading passage and it will adapt it into a leveled reading and resource set.
1. Paste an excerpt, original document, or other text into the "Paste text here" box or upload a PDF by selecting the appropriate file from your computer.
2. Keep the “Original Text” as is or choose an approximate reading level to adapt the reading.

Resource sets can be edited, re-leveled, easily copied, and translated.
You can quickly generate more questions at various DOK levels and vocabulary as needed.
To Translate Resource Sets:
1. Click the Translate Button
2. Choose the language
3. You can choose to translate the entire resource or you can select specific sections to translate.
To see previously generated Resource Sets:
Click “My Resources"
From here you can access the sets again, edit sets, create new ones, delete sets, and get a link to share with colleagues.
Student Activities
To Create Student Activities:
Create a new Resource Set or select a previously created Resource Set located under the My Resources tab.
Review the Resource Set and edit as needed.
Click "Get Student Activities" and select the template you want to use. Student Activities are organized by different activity types:
