I started with Fitzgerald Public Schools in 2013 at Fitzgerald High School as a chemistry and biology teacher. 

Over the past few years, I have greatly enjoyed the opportunity to meet and work with teachers at all buildings throughout the district as a district coach.  I look forward to the opportunity to work with you this year!

I have been a teacher in the Fitzgerald District for over 20 years.  Throughout my career in Fitzgerald, I have experienced teaching various grade levels in all 3 of the elementary buildings, as well as the Early Childhood Center.  Aside from my teaching experience in Fitzgerald, I was also an adjunct instructor for Baker College in the Early Childhood Education program.

I taught ELA and Reading Intervention at the high school for 12 years. This is my third year in the role of District Literacy Coach. I earned my Bachelor's in Secondary Education - English from Western Michigan in 2006. I completed my Master's in Reading from Saginaw Valley State in 2012. I have my K-12 Literacy Specialist certification. Literacy is my passion. I love sharing my love of reading and writing with students.
