GoGuardian Scenes allow you to control student browsing by either blocking everything except specific sites (Allow Mode) or allowing everything except specific sites (Block Mode).
Open Scenes: Log into GoGuardian Teacher and click Scenes in the left-hand sidebar.
Start a List: Click Create List under either Allowed Websites or Blocked Websites.
Basic Info: Give your Scene a name (e.g., "Math Quiz" or "Free Time"), choose a color, and click Next.
Add Sites: Type a URL (e.g., google.com) into the search bar, click Search, and then click Add next to the site.
Tip: Use Quick Lists (top right) to instantly add common categories like "Google Docs" or "Testing Sites."
Extras (Optional): * Auto-Open Tabs: Set specific sites to pop up automatically on student screens when class starts.
Tab Limit: Limit students to a maximum number of open tabs (e.g., max 3 tabs).

You can apply a Scene to an active class or set one to start automatically.

Go to your Classrooms dashboard.
Click the Settings (gear icon) for a specific class and choose Edit.
Scroll to Default Scene, select your preferred Scene, and click Update Classroom.
