Lesson Planner offers options for sharing lessons within your organization, as well as making them available to substitute teachers or individuals outside your organization, including students, parents, and guardians.
Sharing Lessons
To Share Lessons:
Select Share from within the lesson/class/date you would like to share.
The Sharing Lesson window will appear with the options to:
a. Print/PDF - print or download a PDF of the lesson
b. Resources - share the lesson with FPS teachers/staff or FPS group(s)
c. Group of Lessons- share multiple lessons from a specific date range with FPS teachers/staff or FPS group(s)
d. Public Link/Embed- create a public link for the lesson plan. Anyone with this link will be able to view this lesson's content.
e. Google Classroom- make an announcement, ask a question, create an assignment, or create material with the public link to your lesson plan.
Once you have filled in any necessary information within the Share Lessons window, click the blue Share button.
Importing Lessons
To Import Lessons:
Select Import from within the lesson/class/date you would like to import the lesson to.
The Importing into window will appear with options to import from lessons Shared with me, My Resources, or from My Groups (FPS groups you are a part of).
Select the lesson to preview it before adding to your planner.
Click the blue Import button to continue.
A window will appear that will allow you to select which lessons you would like to import. Make sure to double check the date/class you are importing into.
Click Confirm to finish importing. Note: If there is already existing content within the date/class you are importing into you will be given the following options before proceeding:
Keep them & append new content
Shift existing lessons forward
Overwrite existing lessons
Once you are done importing, click View It Now to view the lessons in your planner.
You can now make changes as needed without impacting anyone else who has access to the shared lessons.
