Adding Assignments
PowerTeacher Pro (Gradebook) can be accessed by clicking on the PowerTeacher Pro link below each Class name.
To add a new Assignment click on the + button at the top right corner of the screen and select Assignment.
There are 5 required fields (shown to the left):
Select Classes- (1 or more) to assign to.
New Assignment Name- Type in the assignment name
Select a category-
Homework or Assessment should be selected
Final Exam is selected for final exams only
Participation and School Business will not count towards overall final grades
Due date - Enter a due date for the assignment
Score Entry Points- Assign a point value to the assignment (Points are used by default, you can change this using the selector for Score Type).
If the assignment is only intended for a some but not all students within the classes selected, you can use the Students tab to select specific students.
Save and Close- Be sure to click Save and Close in the once you have finished creating the assignment.
