Assignments can be viewed in a list or in a traditional scoresheet view.
For either view, select Grading from the navigation menu on the left side of the screen. Both the Assignment List and Scoresheet views can be selected from the Grading menu.
The scoresheet can also be viewed from the class selector. Click on the Class Selector at the top of the screen, then click on the button shown in the image to the right to go directly to the scoresheet for that class.
Assignment List & Scoresheet
The assignment list allows you to see:
Category for the assignment (either classwork/homework or assessments for all quarter grades)
Name of the assignment
Number of students scored/number of students in the class (the green checkmark indicates that all students have a score marked)
Due Date
Score Type
Edit
Click on the edit (pencil) icon from within the Assignment List to edit an existing assignment. This will open the Assignment Dialogue box and allow for any assignment settings to be changed. Notice that within this Assignment Dialogue box, you are also given the option to duplicate or delete an assignment. Once you have made any changes to the assignment, click on Save and Close.
Click on the Assignment Name within the Assignment List to view the Scoresheet for the individual assignment selected. Use the Assignment Name dropdown menu to select different assignments for the class.
Notice in the right corner of the individual assignment scoresheet there is the option to click on Edit Assignment. Clicking on this will allow you to access the Assignment Dialogue box to make any necessary changes to this assignment.
The Scoresheet allows you to view students' overall grades as well as grades on individual assignments.
Click on the arrow under the assignment name and select GO TO ASSIGNMENT to once again view the scoresheet for individual assignments.
Student scores can be entered within Scoresheet (either individual assignment scoresheet or all assignment scoresheet) . To enter a score, click within the grade cell for student and type in the student score.
Note that when you click within a grade cell, the Score Inspector appears on the right side of the screen. The Score Inspector can be used to:
Enter grades
Fill Scores- the up/down arrow allows you to fill scores vertically for an assignment while the left/right arrows allow you to fill scores horizontally for an individual student
Mark Assignment as Missing, Collected, Late, Incomplete, Exempt, or Absent
Enter Comments using the text box
Enter Comments using the Comment Bank
Once student scores have been entered, hit the green Save Scores button in the lower right corner of the screen.
