LOBBY
Concept | In an unconventional space, the path is guided with vivid patterns that grow in scale, encouraging exploration. The many trinkets & maximalist interior reinforces the essence of childhood nostalgia & curiosity that connects individuals in the space through shared experiences.
Sentry Definition: A person who protects, to be guarded and watched over.
Sentry Haus finishes are inspired by drag king and queen fashion.
The rich texture and colour pallet transform the interior to create a vibrant, stimulating space with the intent to foster an imaginative, safe space for the users. The atmosphere created by these materials holistically provides a fun, engaging experience for the users.

The performance space is Calgary's main drag king and queen stage. As Sentry Haus includes youth counselling, this performance venue is mostly utilized as a sober space that allows all ages to view performances. The performance space offers a giant dance floor for sober guests to enjoy a nightlife atmosphere in a safe setting.

ART STUDIO 1
The secondary support spaces are located on the second floor. Sentry Art Studios offer various creative learning classes such as sewing & costume design, make-up classes, vouge dance classes, and life skill classes such as resume writing. The studios are flex spaces for the various activities. These spaces intend to connect youth through art-based activities and foster memorable experiences.
Sentry Counseling offers youth counselling for LGBTQ+ youth with volunteer mentors to help guide and support. The intent is to utilize group art activities to bond youth and encourage authentic self-expression, courage, and general wellness.
