Many do not realize the myriad ways that gaming can enrich an individual's life. Before today's digital involvement in our lives, there was a negative stigma that was perceived on the individuals who enjoy video games and the community that grew from them. The stigma was that gamers were introverts and social interactions were nonexistent for those individuals. However, this is simply not true. The game community is a welcoming and supportive community because the games were large opportunities for social interactions.
I want Third Elements to become a space where the game community can flourish and thrive while also becoming a space for newcomers can come to interact with the game community and experiences something new.
Third Elements will be more than a community hub for individuals interested in games. This project will also aim to become an urban escape for adults who needs a break from their busy lives. In order to help create a space that helps reduce stress, I did research on recover experiences to better understand the affects of different experiences to help recover from stress. There are three main experiences that I wanted to provide in this project and they are relaxation, psychological detachment, and mastery of skills. Each experience helps an individual to overcome their stresses and let go of them.
For the atmospheric goals, I wanted to achieve a spatial experience that greets patrons with a sense of comfort. I also wanted the patrons to feel like a they have been transported into a fantasy like dream, a reverie, upon entering the lounge. Lastly, I want the space to become a helpful aid in mastering skills and experiences during the patrons stay.

Within the game lounge, there will be two levels filled with different game stations. The lounge will host the use of PC stations, VR stations, and TV console stations.
The bar lounge will host Esport streams on their screens while providing bar service to all the patrons in the building.
On this floor, the game lounge provides a more private experience for its users. The use of a tiered ceiling and privacy screens allows the floor area to be divided into different areas.
The capsule hotel resides on the backside of the project space and this allows the space to be separated away from all the high energy of the game lounge.
Patrons are able to book a sleeping capsule to turn in for the night and relax. The hotel provides a private lounge room, shower rooms, lockers, and bathrooms for patrons.
