This is a project that I created based on several courses in MAFLT. The Technology needed included Google Jamboard, Flipgrid, Google slides, the online dictionary jissho.org, and the NHK realtime news and social media feeds. Students experienced researching with authentic resources, and then communicating through flipgrid with Japanese students to find out more information about their chosen topics. The resulting project is a slide show presentation. Each student created three slides featuring a reflection in English, a recording of their photo captions, interpretation of the Japanese student's response to their questions, captions in Japanese of 2-3 photos, and a collaborative glossary.
Although the telecollab video has been posted elsewhere in this portfolio, please take a look at it this time in light of the technology used to help students make these discoveries.
