This park has many kinds of shade trees, variegated Hostas, different kinds of Hydrangeas, Weigelas, beds of Ground ivy, Lilies and other misc plants. Annuals are planted every Spring which makes the park beautiful in the sunny areas as well as the shady spots. It is virtually set in a small ravine with flower beds all along the outside among the trees. The Granite Monuments lists names of past and present Fallen War Heroes, which reflects the parks interior beauty. For educational purposes we have labelled our vegetation for public knowledge. It is a fun place to work and the community really supports us. The village pays for the products and flowers we need to maintain its beauty. We would welcome any new Master Gardeners to come and work with us! We would enjoy your help a great deal. Thank you and Happy Gardening!!!
