Bethel Neighborhood Garden

The garden project is being established in an area marked as a food desert. It is an oppressed area that needs rejuvenation. The garden is the first of a three phase project to uplift this neighborhood. We are ready to work with them from planting to preserving with our different institutes including Health and Nutrition Institute and the Food Preservation Team. Our support of this project will support young students learning about where their food comes from to the adults learning how to choose, prepare and preserve foods for later use. Groups that will benefit from the education are elementary school children up to our older populations.
