Boys & Girls Club of Greater Flint

Our club hoop house/wellness program will help the children learn about growing food, urban gardening, and all aspects of maintaining the garden. Having the hoop house will allow us to have a longer growing season. At harvest, produce will be distributed to members and others in the community. The children will also learn about composting. Our club members are between 6 years and 17 years old. Our Wellness Coordinator would benefit from the expert knowledge to help with the hoop house. The surrounding community will benefit from fresh vegetable distribution. We plan to serve at least 100 children and their families.
