Outdoor Education Module

The Outdoor Education Module focuses on three strands, namely:

a) Enhancing physical health and wellbeing;

b) Building competency in assessing and managing risk; and

c) Developing a sense of place.

In this module, you will learn 6 different areas as follows:

A. Knots & Lashing

- build a simple structure to hold a weight

B. Outdoor Living Skills

- pitch a dome tent

- cook a meal in an outdoor setting.

C. Navigation Skills

- pacing & map reading

D. Risk Assessment & Management

- Bandages & treatments

E. Kayaking Orientation Programme (during the camp)

F. Sec Two Cohort Camp
