Lesson & Safety Routines

1.1 Students should be in proper PE attire, school PE t-shirt and black or dark blue shorts.

1.2 Classes have 10 mins to assemble at designated venues as determined by PE teachers after the end of the last lesson.

1.3 All students must move to the PE venue with their masks on.

1.4 When at PE venue, all students are to sit down in 4 or 6 rows according to their index number. Students in each row are to be seated at least 1m apart from each other.

1.5 Students are advised to deposit their personal valuables with their PE teachers for safe keeping.

1.6 Students who are unwell (e.g. headaches) or are injured (e.g sprained ankle) are to assemble first but to declare to their PE teachers during the collection of valuables.

1.7 Students should not wear watches during lessons during games as they may injure others but are allowed to wear them during physical training sessions (e.g. running and strength training).

1.8 Students who are unwell are to sit at designated spot at least 2m apart with mask on.

1.9 Students who did not surrender their handphones for collection are not allowed to take out their phones to use them during the lesson whether seated at the location designated by their teacher or at the playing area. They will have to surrender their handphones till at least the end of the lesson if caught using their phones without permission.

2.1 Every student is expected to participate actively under the PE teacher’s guidance.

2.2 Students who have been excused from PE by PE teachers are to remain within sight of the PE teacher and must seek permission to go for a toilet break.

2.3 When feeling unwell during lesson, declare and inform your PE teachers.

2.4 Masks must be worn at all times except when doing strenuous activities.

3.1 Students are to assemble back into their rows to facilitate the return of valuables.

3.2 Students are to ensure that they are seated 2m apart from one another with masks on.

3.3 Valuables should only be given back when all students are assemble back in their respective rows. Only have a student from each row to give out the valuables.

3.4 Students are to inform PE teachers if unwell or injury sustained during lessons.

3.5 Students are to move back to class within 3min after dismissal.

3.6 Students are to change back into their school pants/shorts 1 hour after their PE lessons.
