Daily Procedures

This section is designed to provide important information for students and parents to access as needed to people, places, and services during the regular school day.

DOORS

From 7:30 to 7:55 a.m., Doors #14 & #26 are open for students to enter the building. 

• Students should enter the building through Door #14 or #26 (no earlier than 7:30 a.m.) and go directly to the field house or cafeteria. 

• It is also a good time to do make-up work or tests or get extra help from teachers as needed (set-up ahead of time).

• All parents/guardians should enter Door #13 ALL TIMES

After 7:55 a.m., only Door #13 (next to the Prairie River) will be open for the rest of the day as the main entrance. 

MAIN OFFICE HOURS

The PRMS office is staffed from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. 

An answering machine is available 24 hours a day and 7 days a week to take messages.

VISITORS

Visitors are to sign in and out on the register in the main office and obtain a "Visitor's Badge" in the building. 

• Visitors may not disturb classes during the school day. 

• Visitor parking is located on Polk Street or across the Prairie River bridge on Third Street. 

• Parking next to the fence is limited to 15 minutes and not allowed when buses are present. 

• Students are not allowed to have student visitors from  other schools at any time, unless approved by the PRMS administration.
