PERSONAL DEVICE

Students are responsible for the care of their personal devices and the district takes no responsibility for the loss or damage of these items. 

Cell phones will be allowed in the hallways before and after school, provided they do not become disruptive to the educational setting. 

Cell phones will NOT be allowed in classrooms.  

Cameras and/or any audio  or video  recording device will not be used on the premises without permission from school administration.



INAPPROPRIATE USE OF PERSONAL DEVICE

Unauthorized cell phone use will result in...

First Offense:  Students will turn their phone over to the staff member requesting it and the phone will be released from the office to students at the end of the day.

Second Offense:  Students will turn their phone over to a staff member requesting it and the phone will only be released from the office to the student's parent/guardian at the end of the day.

Third Offense:  Students will turn their phone over to the staff member requesting it and the phone will only be released from the office to the student's parent/guardian at the end of the day.  At that time students and parents will acknowledge the infraction by signing an agreement that the student will no longer be allowed the use of a cell phone in school during the normal school day.  Violation of this agreement will result in a student suspension.

*Refusal to turn a phone over to staff or the office will result in the student being assigned a suspension.
