Today we are going to work on adding Commas at the end of introductory elements!!
Remember boys and girls, we don't just add commas when we pause. Each commas has a specific rule and place it needs to go. Introductory elements are very common in our writing.
An example of an introductory element could be a dependent clause, a phrase, or a interjection.
For our purposes we will be working with dependent clauses and phrases.
An introductory element is the beginning of a sentence and they prepare the reader for the main purpose of the sentence. Introductory elements could consist of dependent clauses, a phrase, or an interjection.
