Thursday 21st August was a landmark day for our Year 11 students, the class of 2025 gathered with anticipation, nerves, and excitement to receive their GCSE results 😮🎉. At 9am, the envelopes were opened, and the room was filled with cheers and smiles 😁👏 as months of hard work and determination finally paid off.

We are very proud of our Year 11 students and congratulate them on another excellent set of GCSE results at Lordswood Boys' School.
There have been countless excellent achievements, far too many to list individually, and here are some of the key highlights:
100% of students achieved grades 9-4 in GCSE Biology, 96% in Chemistry and 92% in Physics.
65% of students achieved grades 9-4 in GCSE English and 69% in Mathematics.
60% of students achieved grades 9-4 in GCSE English & Maths.
83% of students achieved grades 9-4 in Business Studies, 73% in GCSE German and 75% in GCSE History.

Amey Goyal - 1 Grade 9s, 4 Grade 8s, 3 Grade 7s and 1 Grade 6.
Elbahi Abdellatif - 1 Grade 9s, 5 Grade 8, 1 Grade 6 and 1 Grade 5.
The Top Grades Available
This year at Lordswood Boys' School we are delighted that students have achieved twice as many Grade 9s and more Grade 8s, 7s, and 6s compared to last academic year.
Overall, 29% of this year's GCSE grades were marked at Grade 6 or above and 63% of this year's GCSE grades were marked at Grade 4 or above.
28% of students achieved grades 7+ in GCSE Mathematics.

Parents/Carers are reminded that we return to school on Wednesday 3rd September 2025. All students are expected to arrive at school at the normal time before 8:30am.
