Double click the "Home" on an Ipad to make sure there are no other Dash and Dot Apps running
Turn Dash off and then on again
Hold down the power button on your robot for seven seconds to "reset" Dash or Dot
If all else fails, try deleting the app from your iPad and reinstalling it
Which "robot" should I be connecting to?
Be sure to name your "Dash or Dot" immediately to ensure quick recognition and label your robot with tape or marker
How can I save my work?
When you create a new project, you will have the option to click ]the small plus icon on the upper left corner of the screen and enter a name for your project When you have entered a name for your project, click the orange arrow below pointing to the right.
Dash or Dot needs to be updated
The App will inform you when Dash or Dot needs to be updated. Please plug in your Dash or Dot and wait. The App will let you know when it is finished
How do I know when Dash or Dot needs to be charged?
A message will appear indicating Dash or Dot is running low on power. Please plug in your device with the cord provided
The light around the charge cord will disappear indicating your device is fully charged
Dash is driving around and saying things and I don't know why
Please ensure that Dash is connected to an App.
You can check this by tapping the plus button on top right hand corner. Choose the appropriate device.
To turn Dash to silent mode, see instructions here. You can do this from within Blockly once you have connected to your robot and have chosen the settings.
My robots wheels keep spinning when it runs into something
The robots will continue to run through the program regardless if it hits an obstacle. Please beware of obstacles that could inhibit the robots function.
