We are learning to demonstrate an understanding of equality between pairs of expressions, using addition and subtraction of one- and two-digit numbers so that we can find the missing number in an equation.
1. Place chart paper up on the wall.
2. Have students connect their Dashes in the Blockly app.
3. 1 student is Column A and the other is Column B.
4. Students code their Dashes to try and make them go the same distance.
5. Students will know that the equations are balanced if both Dashes end up at the same spot.
