Get notifications from a Google Sheet
This is when you want to know about any changes made to a shared Google Sheet.
1. Open the Google Sheet that you want to receive notifications.
2. Click Tools.
3. Hover over Notification settings and then click on Edit notifications.
4. Under "notify me at xxx@lexrich5.org when..."
Select the circle "Any changes are made"
5. Under "notify me with...."
Select "Email - right away" (This emails you immediately when a change is made.)
(You can select a Email-daily digest and it will only email you once a day if there were changes.)
6. Click Save.
Get notifications from a form entry
This is when you have a Google Sheet linked to a Google Form with the responses.
1. Find and open the "xxxxxxx (Responses)" Google Sheet that is attached to a Google Form.
2. Click Tools.
3. Hover over Notification settings and then click on Edit notifications.
4. Under "notify me at xxx@lexrich5.org when..."
Select the circle "A user submits a form"
5. Under "notify me with...."
Select "Email - right away"
6. Click Save.
Put a Formula in an entire column
Instead of dragging the fill handle, follow the directions below to apply it to the entire column.
Select the cell with the formula.
Click Ctrl + Shift + down arrow to select all cells in the column.
Then click Ctrl + enter.
