Backing up your files can be a bit confusing and/or nerve racking. In this section, it will explain how to backup your files that are saved under Documents, Downloads, Pictures, etc. These are items that are saved to your hard drive.
You do not need to back up your Google Drive Files as they are already in the cloud and are not saved on your hard drive.
You never lose any of your files.
Every year when your laptop/desktop is imaged, your device is completely erased. If your files are backed up, you don't have to worry!

How to backup your files to Google Drive
If at any time you need to work remote or get to work documents from outside of work, you would be able to through Google Drive. You would be able to access any of those files from anywhere that has internet connection.
Unexpected remote work/eLearning/inclement weather days. You can easily find your files with Google Drive and do not need a specific device to access.
