What is learner support?

We want all learners to achieve the best possible successes and to have the best opportunities during and after their time with us. 


We understand that for some of our learners, extra help is needed. We also understand that sometimes things change during your time with us. So the SEND department works across all sites, as a service that can be used to help learners.


Any learner with Special Educational Needs and/Disabilities (SEND), learning difficulties or multiple learning needs can have access to the SEND department. 


Depending on your individual needs and circumstances, support will be arranged in different ways.


How can I get support?

This support is asked for and organised through the tutors and staff in your department. Your department staff will then work with their local SEND representatives to understand your needs, record them, and create a Support Plan
