They represent student views at all levels of the college and to ensure that every student is aware of what the SU is and what it offers.

There are lots of different student societies that you can join to meet other people, experience fun and engaging activities, and learn more about the things you are interested in. They also give you new opportunities that will benefit you in the future!
Our current societies can be found below but we are always looking for new societies to be created so please get in touch if you have any ideas!
SU SOCIALS
The SU organise and deliver a number of trips and social events to bring students together and celebrate our diverse societies, most of which are completely free for you to attend!
A few places we visited last year include Jump Inc, Hollywood Bowl, Arcade Club, York Dungeons, Flamingo Cafe and TGI Fridays - but we’re always open to new places and ideas to give you the best possible experience, so feel free to let us know your suggestions and we’ll see what we can do!
