Student Finance 

Student Finance is in two parts; tuition fee loans that are paid directly to the university on your behalf and maintenance loans that are paid to you.  


The UCAS Hub has good and impartial information on this and you don't start paying your loan back until you have completed your courses and are earning about the threshold.  There are a limited amount of grants that don't have to be paid back - see information below.
