LAB Explore

During half term, we thought you might like to keep both yourself and your family busy by exploring some of these opportunities from the comfort of your own home. LAB staff have been busy investigating a range of interesting live attractions, challenges and competitions that we think our students might enjoy, and that will provide them with a range of different experiences at this time. Click on any of the linked images below for more information. Please do not forget - pupils also have access to a wide range of TIF activities on their Subject Google classrooms. LAB Values Board Game Challenge

Students are challenged to take part in a LAB wide project with their families over this half term holiday. In this interdisciplinary project, students are asked to design and manufacture their own board game that promotes our LAB values of Respect, Ambition, Scholarship, Integrity and Resilience

Ravensbourne University Saturday and Holiday Clubs

The Ravensbourne holiday schools run at Easter, summer and during half term breaks, and are led by experienced creative practitioners, industry professionals and Ravensbourne student ambassadors.

The Ravensbourne Saturday Club is for young people interested in all things art & design aged 13-16years old. The Saturday Club will take place online from 10am - 1pm.


You will need: An internet connection, a tablet/phone/computer to join, a free zoom account and something to draw with. Some activities might need other materials, but they are all things you can find around your home!

Competitions to enter:

Doodle for Google is an annual art contest open to students in grades K-12. Students are invited to create their own Google doodle for the chance to have it featured on Google.com, as well as win some great scholarships and tech packages for their schools. This year's theme is:

I am strong because...

Strength isn’t only about how fast you can run or how many pushups you can do – it’s also about the strength inside of you.
