On Wednesday, the first day I attended Tebwanimwaneka Primary School, prior to entering the gate, I could see beautiful flowers. Everyone there were wearing beautiful dresses and T-shirts just like an ice cream that fit well inside its cone. They were gathering in the office, doing a meeting, and hearing announcements from the principal. Communicate, collaborate and cooperate with their colleagues. When it was time for cleaning and gardening, they always followed commands before MOE inspects their school. However, they all aim for the first place.
In addition, following not only school functions, but also the way they communicate with their students inside the classroom. They respect children, teaching moral values by constructing their songs for students not to deny them. At a time when there is nothing to do, they refer back to their moral values song to sing it with students.
She has been providing a corner for students, which is a classroom policy. In her policy corner, she mentions and writes about helpfulness, truthfulness, and respect. Likewise, they continuously referring back to it. When someone is telling a lie and bullying others, she always reminds them to tell the truth, help one another, and respect them so that they can respect and help you back.
Moreover, Tebwaniwaneka Primary School is now like a peace garden that was constructed by an intelligence farmer. All this ethical behavior and personal values happened because of their kind and decent leader. However, from what I saw during observing at this school, I just adapt and acquire new strategies and behaviors that decent teachers must do inside the classroom and school compound to attract students’ attention to copy it since teachers are the role models to their students. By wearing school uniforms, following school functions, and attending school on time.
To conclude, becoming a teacher is not an easy errand they carried on their shoulders, but since they entered this profession field, they had to face all the consequences of it. Even though it is the most stressful task they faced, especially working with youngsters, their mission is to be decent teachers to cater to students' needs so they can achieve and accomplish their full potential.
