Effective communication has two types that can convey ideas, thoughts and feelings through verbal and non-verbal communication.
Verbal communication is the demonstration of utilising words, either spoken or composed, to pass on information, ideas, thoughts sentiments, or guidelines between individuals. It includes talking, turning in, and understanding the communication in language or spoken language to actually exchange messages effectively. For instance, conversation, presentations, phone calls, meetings, public speaking, interviews and so forth. However, these models outline how verbal communication is utilized in day to day existence, work, and different social circumstances to interact with others (Krauss, 2002).
Non-verbal communication alludes to the transmission of messages without utilizing words. It is another way of conveying messages, yet using actions like facial expressions, body language,posture, tone of voice, eye contact, touch and personal space. Notwithstanding, it assumes a huge part in conveying feelings, mentalities, and expectations in connections between individuals (Bhat & Kingsley, 2020).
To conclude, effective non-verbal and verbal communication is one of the most precious teaching approach that ought to be use in the classroom for students to familiarise with ways of communication using non-verbal signs and ways of interacting with every people in an effective ways.
