Name of Teacher Trainee Helen Eteri School Tebwanimwaneka Primary school
Name of Associate Teacher: Tebuaa Name of Supervisor……………………
Year Lever: `4A
Standard 1: Teaching and Learning Method Competency: Effective Teaching
Goal: To encourage active student participation and critical thinking through group discussions.
Activities: I will establish a warm and inviting learning environment by utilizing a variety of creative resources to help visualize the topic, especially for visual learners. I will plan and deliver lessons that address the diverse needs of students to ensure the day's objectives are met. Concluding the lesson with a review of students' understanding will help assess their progress. Recognizing students' achievements will inspire motivation and foster a supportive atmosphere for learning.
Assessment: My approach to assessment in effective teaching is zero in on understanding how well my students are learning and identifying areas for improvement in my teaching methods. Activities such as quizzes, discussions, and group work allow me to assess which concepts students grasp and where they may need additional support. This feedback enables me to adjust my lessons to be more engaging and effective. Additionally, it strengthens my relationship with students by showing that I am invested in their progress. Ultimately, my goal is to ensure that each student receives the support they need to reach their full potential in a positive learning environment.
