Effective Communication
Effective communication is the process of exchanging and conveying ideas, thoughts, and understanding between two or more people by delivering messages clearly so those who received it will understand with charity and purpose. It is a component that both a teacher and a learner should utilize since it is the most critical strategy in solving and overcoming problems (Salamondra, 2021). In addition, also a way of promoting spectacular communication. The main point of effective communication is to be an attentive listener, be concrete and clear, show empathy and be relaxed to motivate students to enhance their capability. Notwithstanding, in this writing the discussion will basically zeroed on indicators which are the; schedules parent meeting and attend staff meetings, works cooperatively with colleagues and the last is respects parents and community views and beliefs.
Firstly, schedules parent meeting and attend staff meetings is the way of creating an effective communication between teacher to parents and teacher to teacher. When having a meeting with students’ parents, they should create a welcoming environment in order for parents to feel more comfortable. For instance, the PTA meetings and so forth. They should be able to have a good relationship between them. That what they supposed to perform to inform parents the data and the information about the progression of their children. They play a huge role in shaping a child’s educational journey in school and their future academic success (Islam, 2019). This meeting happened regarding problems. For instance, students continuously disobedient like bullying others, do not want to participate in class or group activities. Students had difference backgrounds and upbringing they lived in, as some children live in a rich, intelligent, well and unionize family will result that they will behave good inside the classroom to their peers and teachers whereas some lived in a poor family will end up as aggressive and disobedient (Kipp, 2012). So, the purpose for that meeting is to find solutions to improve a learner capability and to motivate them so they can meet their full potential.
In addition, they should also have to be punctual in attending staff meetings, to communicate with other staff, sharing their ideas for planning other policies or creating new goals for the school. Sharing updates about targets and goals they able to accomplish in classroom or school. Staff meeting give chance and opportunities to make them feel connected to each other to work as a team and to encourage everyone (Ford, 2014).
In addition, works cooperatively with colleagues. In this stage and it try to summarize that a teacher ought to cooperate in school with students through educating and educational experience. Working cooperatively with understudies creating a safe environment by doing inclusive, respective, and supportive to students. It will assist them to feel more comfortable to open and express their viewpoints and thoughts without dread and timid (Clapper, 2 0 1 0). Permit students to pop in and discuss anything.
