Reflection after the peer teach
Teaching is the most stressful errand faced by educators. They went through a lot since they must prepare themselves prior to teaching by providing teaching aids/materials, lesson plans, and notes for each subject after working hours. On Wednesday 15th May 2024, my friend and I were doing a peer teaching at KTC compound. We delivered English, and our focus learning is reading. The topic that we chose is Part of speech zeroed in on adjectives. We developed a 45-minute 3P lesson plan to guide us thru delivering. However, this writing will basically discuss the inclusive education for both boys and girls during learning and teaching process.
In fact, Confident in our teaching and manage pupils to have contribution in the group and individual activity. We dispense a comprehensive warmer, which is a word race to comprise both genders not desirous of sendoff everyone. Requesting them some queries and selecting everyone to give respond. At a time when distributing them to their various clusters, we allot a little game not to feel bored and sleepy all through class, which is an in numbers game. They appreciate and were really relishing it, which, engage them and attract their interest to finish their activities according to the time limited. Likewise, by offering attractive teaching aids it can vest students to be further energetic and can accomplished their full potential.
To conclude, even teaching is the most stressful task especially working with youngsters, but as we entered this field, we must face all the consequences of it. Most importantly as a teacher, they should prepare themselves by doing their lesson plans, providing resources and to construct an easy task for students which align with the topic to improve their understanding, and engaged them so they can fully participate in the learning and teaching process. However, making mistakes allow teachers to improve themselves not to repeat making errors and mistakes in their teaching.
