In February 2003, Lana Clarkson was found shot to death in Phil Spector's mansion. Phil always asserted it was an 'accidental suicide' but the coroner ruled her death a homicide. The first trial ended in a deadlocked jury in 2007. Upon retrial, Phil was found guilty of murdering Lana in 2009. He recently died in prison.
