In 2004, Drew Peterson's 3rd wife, Kathleen Savio, was found dead in a bathtub. Her death was initially ruled an accident; but after Drew's 4th wife, Stacy, goes missing in 2007, Kathleen's body was exhumed and the case reexamined as a homicide. Drew was charged with Kathleen's murder in 2009 and found guilty in 2012. He is sentenced to 38 years in prison. He continues to fight for a new trial and claims he is innocent to this day.
