Challenge: Steep Incline
PLANNING
PLANNING
To create a device which will climb a steep incline.
ALL students will: Be able to create a basic sketch and flowchart of a device which can climb a steep incline
MOST students will: Be able to create a detailed sketch and flowchart of a device which can climb a steep incline
SOME students may: Be able to create realistic looking sketch (including all major components) and flowchart of a device which can climb a steep incline
Gear down: This is the process of slowing down the output of a motor, however increasing the torque.
There will be a steep ramp in the STEM lab. You are to create a device which can climb as far up as possible. Speed is not important in this!
