Time to test your device. Talk with your partner about improvements you can make to ensure a suitable performance. Make these changes when necessary.

a) Now is the time to test that your device works
b) Discuss with your partner about the devices performance and make any small changes which may be necessary
c) Your teacher will formally assess your devices performance (see grading rubric below)
d) Place a video of your device doing its job on your portfolio (1 point)

- You will comfortably lift at least 1kg (4 points)
- You will need to lift the weight at least 30cm vertically (4 points)
- The lifting process will begin with the trigger of a sensor and end with another type of sensor. You may only interact with one of the sensors. (3 points)
- The lifting motion will be smooth (2 points)
- The weight is easily attachable/detachable (1 point)
