Pupil Attainment

We are extremely proud of our recent attainment data, which our pupils have achieved at KHS. A combination of creativity and innovation around the design of our curriculum, teacher dedication and of-course the sheer commitment and hard work from our pupils has resulted in very positive attainment statistics over the past several years. The three graphs below reflect these achievements and we are delighted to share this with you. We would be more than happy to discuss our attainment data with you and encourage you to get in touch with us if you have any questions or comments. More information about the context of gathering information and data, which Scottish Government has established can be found here.

Improving attainment for all pupils at KHS is an integral part of our daily work as a collective staff. We are delighted at how well our pupils are achieving and attaining in all aspects of their education.

Improving attainment in numeracy and literacy is always a priority for us. We continue to work hard to ensure all pupils attain highly in these two crucial subjects. The graph below reflects this attitude but we are all working hard to improve the attainment our pupils achieve.

Ensuring all pupils leave KHS having achieved a positive destination is one of the most enriching aspects of being a teacher and working in a school. Many of our pupils leave school and continue their academic journey's through Further or Higher Education either at College or University. Many more pupils go on to be employed, gain modern apprenticeships or volunteer both locally and globally. As a staff, we work carefully to ensure that no pupils are left without a suitable positive destination and this is reflected in the graph below over the past few years. Please contact us if you would like any further information about how we support pupils to achieve this.
