U14 North of Scotland Cup Result - 18th September 2026

Yesterday, it was the turn of the U14 boys team to compete in the North of Scotland Cup against Buckie away from home.

The boys found themselves 2-0 down after a frantic start to the game, but they responded well through a quick couple of passes and a well-weighted final pass from Gabriel Kwiczala to Kenneth McRae, who neatly finished the ball past the goalkeeper to make the score 2-1.

Buckie quickly restored their two-goal cushion to make it 3-1 before half-time.

Buckie came out quickly again in the second half and put a lot of pressure on the KHS defence, scoring a further two goals to make it 5-1. However, the score remained 5-1 thanks to some brilliant saves from Theodore Burns-Smith .

Final score: 5-1

MOTM: Harry Bloor, who was captain on the day and did well to push the team on throughout the match.

Huge well done to our new U13 boys’ team, who battled hard to beat a strong Banff Academy side 8–6 in the preliminary round of the North of Scotland Cup.

After a shaky start, the boys found themselves 3–0 down within the first 15 minutes of the game, but showed brilliant character to turn the game around and come out on top. There were some excellent performances across the pitch, but the Player of the Match was Archie McGhee, who managed to grab himself 6 goals!

Also, a big shoutout to Reid Paterson, who managed to score an impressive solo goal, running with the ball from the halfway line, beating several defenders and slotting it into the bottom corner .
