We are delighted to share that the recent KHS Bikeathon raised an incredible £531.62 for the Calum Mackintosh Memorial Fund, which supports cardiac screening through the charity Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY).

CRY has written to thank our school community for their generosity and support, confirming that the funds will be ringfenced for screening. The charity highlighted that contributions such as these help them continue their vital work to reduce the number of young sudden cardiac deaths and support families affected by such tragedies.

A huge thank you to all pupils, staff, parent council, spin project and supporters who took part in, supported, and helped organise the Bikeathon. Your efforts have made a real difference and are helping to support an important cause in memory of Calum.

Well done to everyone involved in this fantastic fundraising achievement.

We are delighted to share that the Kingussie Bikeathon raised an incredible £531.62 for Mikeysline.

Mikeysline has confirmed that the funds have been safely received and has asked us to pass on their sincere thanks to everyone who supported the event. As a grassroots charity that receives no statutory funding, every donation helps them continue providing vital support across the Highlands, Islands and Moray.

A huge thank you to all the pupils, staff, families and community members who took part, donated and supported the Bikeathon. Your efforts will make a real difference to many people.

Special thanks must also go to Kingussie Parent Council, Kingussie Spin Project and Cycle Friendly School Scotland. Without their support, encouragement and help with organising the event, the Bikeathon would not have been possible.
