MARCH 2026 - Part 2
Mrs. Maldonado
Welcome back to school! I hope everyone had a wonderful and relaxing spring break. We spent this week getting to know each other, sharing about our time off, and jumping back into our i-Ready lessons. We’re off to a great start and looking forward to a strong final quarter!

Welcome Back! Hoping you had a restful Spring Break. At the end of third quarter 7th graders were harvesting their Hydroponics Projects, while 6th graders were completing their solar cooker projects. Eighth graders remained focused on dissecting the sheep heart. In the picture you can see the left ventricle. They did a great job!

What a busy month it has been! The 7th grade wheel classes were busy planning a WMS Blooket for their grade level and the Spartan Fair People Finder activity!
6th grade wheel classes sponsored a Spring Art Contest and will host an Easter Eggstravaganza in April during 6th grade lunch!
Student Council was kept busy with recycling, birthday bash, and the school store. (4) StuCo members also represented our school and did a presentation about communication at the Hilton Hawaiian Village!
Mr. Otaka
We finished off the quarter by having 6th graders learn the fundamentals of coding in Swift; 7th graders doing some basic coding challenges with Dash and Cue robots; and 8th graders attempting to tackle the complexities of creating a donut in Blender. We also finished off the quarter by having students play and write interactive fiction on Twine.
