NOVEMBER 2025
Mr. Lavine
We are making math fun! Using colors and physical manipulative materials helps us learn math in new ways. We're building off the foundational skills we've been laying this school year and beginning to transition to more complex math topics, like multistep equations and inequalities. Winter Break will be here before we know it!
Mrs. Maldonado
We’ve been staying busy in the ELA Learning Lab! Students have been working hard and staying engaged as we dive into some really interesting, timely, and relevant articles that make reading feel more exciting and meaningful. It’s hard to believe we’re already heading into the last month of the quarter, but the kids are making great progress and putting in wonderful effort.

This has been a busy November! 7th graders are designing and assembling their projects for the Pollinator Design Challenge. 6th graders are demonstrating Osmosis by using Gummy Bears placed in different environments. 8th graders are challenged with the task of assembling a Wind Turbine that can produce 5 volts of electricity in 30 seconds. Hoping everyone has a Happy Thanksgiving!

In November, 6th and 7th grade wheel classes began on their action projects. At the end of this quarter, you'll see what they've been up to!
8th grade was busy with many meetings and hosting activities, most notably the Dunk Tank event on 11/26! Thank you to all who donated and participated!
