Teen Health wrapped up their Media Ready Curriculum by creating and presenting counter advertisements. They then learned some pretty interesting facts about vaping and were pretty shocked to find out what types of chemicals are found in vapes.
Home Economic students finally got to the long awaited cooking unit!! Students made Rice Krispie Treats, Spam Musubi and Gingerbread Cookies. All recipes received the "seal of approval" from the students!

On Thursday, December 11, the WMS Chorus presented our Winter Concert 2025. It was a wonderful event in which the students showcased the many skills that they have been working on since August. They sang songs in four different languages. Besides English, they also sang songs in Korean, Hawaiian, and Latin. Their favorite song was "Storm" which featured a patting and clapping section to accompany their singing. We are looking forward to what the new year has in store!
Ms. Pilato
Ag. Tech classes wrapped up the quarter-long course for grades 6–8 by completing their final projects. Sixth graders designed innovative agricultural technologies to address real-world issues in agriculture, while seventh graders created their dream farms, thoughtfully planning water supply, energy sources, and crop and livestock inventory. Eighth graders concluded the month by presenting 60-second Shark Tank–style pitches for their small businesses, showcasing logos, supply lists, and complete business plan packets.
In our Ag. Club, we completed our Paper Project, taking the students' old homework/worksheets and repurposing them into brand new, homemade paper! They then used their handmade paper to create gift tags for the holidays.

Art students in grades 6-8 ended the quarter with ornament making fun! Students used acrylic paint pens in the creation of their ornament originals. Be sure to hang them up to spread holiday cheer with your ohana!
