IBC Tracker Explained
The IBC Tracker is made up of three tabs: Testing, Roster, and Prior Year IBC. The following section will describe the data in each tab.
Roster Tab
The Roster tab is a complete list of all students enrolled in your courses as of a specific date. The data is filtered to show only practicum students (in all cases except Culinary Arts) AND seniors regardless of course. Culinary Arts also includes students enrolled in Advanced Culinary Arts, as per principal request.
Do not remove any students from this list. These students are required to test.
In most cases, you will not be modifying this tab. However, in rare instances where you have a student join a practicum class during the school year, or a senior join one of your classes during the school year, you will need to add them to the roster tab.
Prior Year IBC Tab
The Prior Year IBC tab is exactly what is sounds like. It lists students who earned an IBC in your program in a previous year. This data is included so that they are not added to the current year testing roster.
Testing Tab
The Testing tab is where you will be tracking your students' IBC data. All tracker testing tabs include the course, student name, student ID, grade level, and CTE indicator code (concentrator or completer). The additional information that you will be adding/tracking will vary depending on your program of study. The next section will review program specific details for each tracker.
On some trackers, there are students listed in red font color. These students are concentrators and completers in your program but are not currently enrolled in a CTE course. These are students we are targeting for testing, but will follow up with you on a strategy to prepare and test them.
