When working on forming sentences, keep this handy checklist around to help you come up with ideas to make your sentences clear and complete.
Sentence Formation Activity #1:
Spring Vocabulary Go Fish
Print 2 copies of the card set.
Cut them out and play Go Fish!
As the players make pairs, ask them to form a sentence about their matched pictures. Example: I saw a rabbit hopping in our yard yesterday.
Tell your SLP how many complete sentences you were able to complete!
Sentence Formation Activity #2:
Pronoun Sentence Starters:
Print this page off or just pull it up on your device as a visual support.
Have the child build sentences about themself, their family/friends, their classmates, etc.
They can do this verbally or in writing.
Try to make at least one sentence per area, but feel free to make more!
How many pronoun starter sentences did you make? Let your SLP know!

Sentence Formation Activity #4:
Spring is finally here and hopefully it is staying! If you can borrow a dice and pieces from another game at home, print this Spring game board to travel out of Winter and into Spring. As you land on a spot, build a sentences that uses our Spring vocabulary words. Have fun and let your SLP know one of the sentences you built!
Sentence Formation Activity #5:
Look at the picture. Use the words below to make 2 different sentences about the picture. Can you make your own sentence? Let your SLP know the sentences you created!
Sentence Formation Activity #6:
We will always remember the Spring of 2020! Write about your Spring. How is doing school work from home going for you? Draw a picture to go along with your writing. Please share your work with your SLP.
