Start digging to find those s-blend words! Say each word you find that has an s-blend in it 3 times or put the word in a sentence. Let your SLP know how you did by sending the s-blend fossils you found or the sentences that you made up.
S, S Blends, Z: Say the name of each picture three times or say it in a sentence before you drag and drop it on the dot. This activity focuses on the following: Initial S (S at the beginning of the word); Medial S (S in the middle of the word); Final S (S at the end of the word); S Blends (sp, st, str, sm, sn, sl, sk at the beginning of the word); Recurring S (more than one S sound in the word); and Z (Z at the beginning and at the end of the word).
