In this activity, click on the 'scenes with pieces: open play' button. Take turns telling each other where to put the different items in the scene. Or your student can create a scene and tell you where they put all the items. (ex: I put the canoe behind the cabin.) Make sure you're using spatial terms (behind, above, next to, under, on, in, etc.) when you are describing where you put the items in the scene. Send a picture to your speech teacher and describe where you put the items to her.
Point to each animal on the page and say whether it is 'big' or 'small'.
Tell which two pictures in each row that are the 'same'. Then tell which ones are 'different'
Which group has 'more'? Which group has 'less'? Point to each group and say which one is which (ex: this group has 'more' and this group has 'less')
Which item is the 'tallest' and which is the 'shortest' in each row? Point to the picture and say which one it is (ex: this is the tallest and this is the shortest.)
